- Using a 3/8" drill bit, drill down middle of ignition lock key slot about 1 3/4" (44 mm) until lock cylinder breaks loose from break-away base of lock cylinder. Remove lock cylinder and drill shavings from lock cylinder housing.
- By turning the cylinder and key to the far left, the ignition switch was locked. However, the middle position was the big difference! Here the ignition was still off but a small tab or teardrop extending down from the cylinder face allowed the driver an option.
